In 1993, Mitsubishi addressed the problems with slow, ineffective hand dryers with the introduction of the Jet Towel. 20 years later, Mitsubishi’s newest model – the ninth generation Jet Towel – provides the cleanest, quietest, and most energy-efficient hand dryer of its class. By using two jets of air traveling at 237 mph, the Jet Towel wipes water from hands quickly, and then makes sure that water is safely contained in a drain tank for easy cleaning. By safely containing water, the Jet Towel keeps the hand drying area clean throughout the day with no water mess. New nozzle design reduces eddies, lowering operating volume to only 61 dB and makes the Jet Towel perfect for offices, libraries, studios, and museums. For even quieter drying, a lower air speed reduces noise by 3 dB. Mitsubishi innovation also makes the Jet Towel one of the most energy efficient hand dryers around. At 1250 watts with the heater on, each hand dry uses only 3.5 watts to dry a pair of hands. A lower airspeed and optional heater mean that the Jet Towel can dry hands with as little as 1.9 watts! The Jet Towel’s electrical efficiency keeps operating costs low.
