Keeping it Simple (Buying Guide)

We have kept our online shopping experience as simple as possible. We offer all of the most popular items online. The XLERATOR hand dryer is extremely easy to buy at ProDryers. Keep in mind, 4 simple points:

  1. The "Eco" in the model number means it's an XLERATOReco vs. a standard XLERATOR. The difference is the Eco version does not utilize a heating element. We have added a green leaf to our images to make the Eco versions stand out from the standard heated units. The non-heated Eco is even more energy efficient than the standard.
  2. Excel Dryer has the original, louder nozzle, and an improved 1.1 noise reduction nozzle. Some of our competitors stock the louder nozzle, and then ship a free 1.1 nozzle. We do the opposite for your convenience! All of our XLERATOR hand dryers are factory installed with the 1.1 noise reduction nozzle which reduces the loudness by 10 decibels. You won't notice a difference in dry time. 99.99% of our customers prefer the quieter nozzle, which still dries hands fast.
  3. When purchasing online, we have set the defaulted option to 110-120 volt. If you are looking for the higher voltage, simply select the 208-277 volt option. Try not to get confused by all of the model numbers below, which are simply a reference. A "V" in the model number is used to define the high voltage. For example, an XL-BW is a 110-120 volt, while an XL-BWV is a 208-277 volt. It's confusing to the customer so we simply display voltage options when adding to the shopping cart.
  4. HEPA filtration is designated by an "H" in the model number. 99.99% of our customers do not wish to pay for the added cost of HEPA filtration. For that reason, should you desire HEPA, simply purchase the HEPA kit, which can be retrofit to any XLERATOR hand dryer. The HEPA kit does not require an electrician for installation.
