Dyson Airblade Tap - In Sink Hand Dryer
With Airblade™ technology in a tap, hands can be dried at the sink in 14 seconds. There's no need to move to a separate hand drying area. The water drips right into the sink and never hits the floor.
Dyson digital motor V4
The Dyson digital motor V4 spins at 92,000 a minute - generating enough power to draw in 28 liters of air per second.
The Dyson digital motor V4 was seven years in the making - it's one of the world's smallest fully-integrated 1400W motors. It's the only hand dryer motor powerful enough to draw in 28 liters of air a second through a HEPA filter, and then dry hands in 12 seconds.
This long-life, energy-efficient motor is digitally switched at 6,100 times per second, making the high compression fan spin 92,000 times a minute. There are only three moving parts, so there are no slip rings or carbon brushes to wear down.
14 second dry time
The conventional way to wash and dry hands is too slow. Hand drying facilities are often not located near a sink, and dryers can take up to 43 seconds, so people can give up. But damp hands can spread up to 1,000 times more bacteria than dry hands. There's no need to leave the sink to use the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer and it dries hands in 14 seconds.
No Water on the Floor
Moving to a seperate hand drying area with wet hands means that water can be dripped on the floor. This can create problems in the restroom. With the Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer, water isn't dripped on the floor because you don't need to leave the sink with wet hands.
Dyson Airblade Technology - The most hygienic hand dryers
Most other hand dryers are unhygienic. They don't filter bacteria from the restroom air. They suck in dirty air then blow it back onto hands. The Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer uses a HEPA filter removing 99.97% of bacteria at 0.3 microns from the air used to dry hands. So hands are dried using cleaner air, not dirty air.
Three Different Airblade Tap Models (AB09, AB10, AB11):
More Dyson Airblade Tap features
- Low environmental impact - 62% less CO2 than paper towels
- Saves space - no need for large hand dryers or paper towel dispensers.
- Dries each hand separately - uses two sheets of air that span the width of each hand
- Touch-free operation - Both water and air are sensor operated
- Saves water - Controlled water flow rate and sensor operation can help save water.
- 5 year warranty - The Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer comes with a 5 year parts and 5 year limited labor warranty
Lowest running costs
Most other hand drying methods are expensive to run. Paper towels need restocking and disposal. Most other hand dryers are slow, and many use a heating element, so they're energy-hungry. The Dyson Airblade Tap hand dryer costs up to 69% less to run per year than other hand dryers, and up to 97% less than paper towels. And of course, there are no separate taps to buy.
