Hand Dryers for 110, 115, and 120 Volt
First of all, 110, 115, and 120 volt options are covered by the 110-120 volt range in almost all cases. Some manufacturers word it as 115 volt, and some word it as 120. Some of our users will find us from searching 110 volt. But the fact is, the 110-120 volt range is the most common and all units made for that range will work on anything from 110-120. Take the XLERATOR for example. It comes in either 110-120 volt or 208-277 ranges. The 110-120 is our most common purchased voltage option.
With that being said, it is important to consult with your electrician to be sure which voltage is required for your building. Most schools and larger buildings are wired for 208 or 220-240 volt. Rarely, 277. installing a 208-277 or high voltage hand dryer to a 120 line will most likely fry the motor or circuits in the hand dryer. Installing a high voltage to a standard 110-120 range will void the warranty. So be sure before you buy!
